Privacy Policy

Philosophy: TrueSquare operates on the "True and Square" philosophy—honesty, transparency, and user empowerment. We believe you should own your work and your data.

1. Definitions

• App: TrueSquare (internally referenced as WorXpacE), including the "TrueFolio" and "Nano Banana" AI modules.
• Local Data: Any information, sketches (.nac, .loq), or client details stored on the User's physical device.
• BYOK: "Bring Your Own Key" – the architecture where the User provides their own third-party API credentials.
• The Developer: The creators of TrueSquare/WorXpacE.

2. Data Ownership and "Local-First" Architecture

TrueSquare is a Local-First utility. We do not maintain a central database of your business information. 100% of your professional data—including client lists, project hierarchies, and architectural drawings—is stored exclusively on your device's local storage (Room Database/DataStore).

Important: Because the Developer cannot "see," access, or intercept your data, we cannot fulfill "Right to Access" or "Right to Delete" requests. You are the sole custodian of your information. Deleting the App will permanently delete all Local Data unless a manual backup (.clks) has been performed.

3. The BYOK AI Model (Google Gemini)

TrueSquare features an AI integration engine ("Nano Banana"). To utilize these features, the User must provide their own Google Gemini API Key.

• Transmission: When using AI features, your data (photos/text) is sent directly from your device to Google’s servers. It does not pass through the Developer’s servers.
• Storage: Your API key is stored encrypted on your device. It is never transmitted to the Developer.
• Terms of Service: By using AI features, you are entering into a direct relationship with Google. You are subject to the Google Generative AI Terms of Service.

4. Device Permissions and Usage

To function as a professional-grade utility, the App requires the following permissions:

• Location: Used strictly for mapping job sites via postcodes and providing geographic context for projects.
• Contacts: Used only when the User chooses to manually import a client. We do not "scrape" or upload your contact list.
• Camera & Storage: Necessary for capturing site photos, creating TrueFolio portfolios, and analyzing images via AI.

5. Security, Backups, and Exports

TrueSquare allows users to export data for portability:

• .clks Files: Standard unified database backups. These do not include your AI API keys.
• High-Security Export: A specific process for exporting credentials. This requires passing a "Double-Check" warning gate. The User assumes all risk for the security and storage of any exported .json files containing API keys.

6. Third-Party Services

The App utilizes the following third-party SDKs for functional purposes:

• Firebase (Google): For anonymous crash reporting and basic telemetry to improve app stability. No personally identifiable business data is sent.
• Google Maps: To provide geographic visualization of projects.

7. Limitation of Liability

TrueSquare is a professional utility tool. AI-generated analysis (captions, material identification, or site observations) is provided "as-is" for informational purposes only. The Developer is not liable for structural, financial, or legal failures resulting from the use of AI suggestions. All professional estimations and architectural decisions should be verified by a qualified human professional.

8. Data Retention

Local Data is retained as long as the App is installed on your device. Upon uninstallation, all relational data is wiped per standard Android operating system protocols. The Developer does not retain "Shadow Copies" of your data.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new features in the WorXpacE World. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
